About Bad Schussenried
The little monastery town or “Klosterstädtchen”, as the locals call it, is situated directly on Schwäbische Bäderstraße and Oberschwäbische Barockstraße. Here, in one of the most beautiful (and still intact) landscapes, is the ideal place to enjoy a holiday and relaxation. The main attractions in Bad Schussenried include the monastery with its beautifully lit library hall and pilgrimage church in Steinhausen, the Upper Swabian Museum Village in Kürnbach and the local SCHUSSENRIEDER Adventure Brewery. In addition to Germany's 1st “Beer SteinMuseum” (Bierkrugmuseum), the Adventure Brewery also boasts a cosy museum tavern and a beer garden with ample shade where you can enjoy Swabian specialities and fresh draught SCHUSSENRIEDER beers.
