motorhome pitch 'Dethleffs'
A very special type of overnight accommodation for all Dethleffs fans: directly on the production premises of the motorhome manufacturer, there are eight pitches with electricity and fresh water.
Today, Dethleffs is one of the best known caravan and motorhome manufacturers in Europe. No wonder given the company's history: Company founder Arist Dethleffs developed the first motorhome in 1931, which is why Isny likes to refer to itself as the “cradle of caravanning”. During one of the weekly production plant tours, visitors learn interesting facts about the manufacture of a motorhome. From the motorhome site near Dethleffs, the town centre of Isny can be reached in a gentle walking time of about 20 minutes.
About Isny in Allgäu
Isny in Allgäu. Lush green meadows, a clear, unobstructed view and noticeably healthy air make this one of the sunniest regions in Germany. Isny is a spa resort with over 800 years of history. A number of nature reserves border almost directly on an urban area; for example, the “Bodenmöser” nature reserve, a fenland that is home to a number of rare animal and plant species. East of the Allgäu town, the “Adelegg”, one of the northernmost foothills of the Alps, rises confidently from the pre-alpine landscape around Isny.
