Ravensburg

The former Free Imperial City of Ravensburg, located in the middle of the Lake Constance and Allgäu vacation region, is the economic center of the region with 50,000 inhabitants. Formerly a commercial center, today it is the shopping city of Oberschwaben.

The centrally located Marienplatz is the ideal starting point for exploring the “City of Towers and Gates”. There and in the adjoining streets and alleyways, life is bustling: In Bachstraße, where the city stream flows openly, or in the lovingly renovated Marktstraße.

Pedestrian zones invite you to take a carefree stroll, and browsing in the stores can be perfectly combined with a tour of the historic old town - on your own or with a guided tour.
