The Ulmer Gate in Biberach an der Riß is a historic city gate dating from the 14th century that was once part of the medieval city walls.
The Ulmer Gate is the only surviving city gate in Biberach. It was built as part of the city’s expansion in the mid-14th century. In 1820, the freestanding belfry was erected, which rang to signal the evening roundup of the geese, known as the “Gausappell.”
