About the stops
Isny im Allgäu: The first natural highlight, the Eistobel Gorge, awaits at the starting point of this touring route. A walk to Schwarze Grat, Württemberg's highest point (1,118 m), is also worth a trip!
Wolfegg im Allgäu: Children and families can learn about life in days gone by and take part in regular interactive activities at the Bauernhaus-Museum Allgäu-Oberschwaben (Allgäu-Oberschwaben Farmhouse Museum).
Bad Waldsee: Cool off on hot summer days with a dip in the town lake and enjoy dinner in a cosy restaurant with a view of the lake in the evening - it's all possible in Bad Waldsee. Motorhome enthusiasts can learn about the history of touring at the Erwin Hymer Museum.
Bad Schussenried/Kürnbach: At the Oberschwäbischen Museumsdorf in Kürnbach, visitors of all ages can experience the whole of Upper Swabia in one village! More than 30 houses from six different centuries show how people lived and worked in times past. The events that take place on Sundays are particularly exciting - these include activities such as the Craftsmen's Day and the Tractor Meet.
Aulendorf: In Aulendorf inspire the Steegersee nature trail, an adventure Golf course and various family exhibition at the castle. If you prefer to be more active, there also several trails for hikers and cyclists.
Bad Buchau: Located right next to Europe's most diverse bog, the Federsee Museum brings the past to life. Ice Age hunters, Celts, and, most significantly, Stone Age and Bronze Age lake dwellers have all left their mark here. On Sundays and during holidays the museum also offers many exciting events for the whole family. And a trip to the nearby Wackelwald forest is a must!
Pfullendorf and Wilhelmsdorf: If you stop in Pfullendorf or Wilhelmsdorf, we recommend taking a detour to the Pfrunger-Burgweiler Ried and the Bannwaldturm. At Wilhelmsdorf Nature Conservation Centre, children can explore the interactive bog exhibition together with Emy the Bog Turtle.
Ravensburg and Ravensburger Spieleland: You won't get bored here, because as the city of games, Ravensburg offers lots of activities, especially for children: The old town conceals exciting discoveries such as the Ravensburger Museum and a life-size blue boardgame piece. You are free to use one of the 40 pitches right next to the park at Ravensburger Spieleland and experience the thrill of the giant Kakerlakak swing.
