Update on measures against the spread of coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2 infection) in Baden-Württemberg.

Dear guests,

The state government summarizes the current regulations to be observed to contain the Corona virus in the "Ordinance of the State Government on Infection Protection Measures against the Spread of the SARS-CoV-2 Virus (Corona Ordinance – "CoronaVO").

You can find all the current Corona Ordinance of the State Government of Baden-Württemberg on the website of the Baden-Württemberg state government.

Please note that the municipalities may also make special arrangements for their area of responsibility. Against this background, we cannot present the specific situation in the individual locations in a differentiated manner here. You can find out about all the relevant special regulations on the websites or directly from the tourist information office.

General hygiene measures:

As with seasonal influenza, the same is true with coronavirus:

  • Keep a minimum distance of 1.5 meters from other people outside their own households.
  • When coughing or sneezing, keep as much distance as possible from other people and preferably turn away.
  • Sneeze and cough into the crook of your arm or into a handkerchief and then dispose of the handkerchief in a trash can with a lid.
  • Wash your hands regularly with soap and water - especially after blowing your nose, sneezing or coughing.
  • Mouth and nose protection: Please wear medical masks in stores, on public transport and indoors as requested.

Coronavirus hotlines:

Contact your family doctor by phone or dial 116117 - the number of the medical on-call service - if you are concerned that you have contracted the coronavirus.

On the level of the three counties assigned to the region of Upper Swabia and Württemberg Allgäu, we can refer to the following websites:

At this point we would like to thank all guests and locals and also our tourist information and tourism partners in the region for your active cooperation and great support in the context of compliance with the protective measures against the further spread of the coronavirus.

Every individual was and is called upon to make his or her contribution here.

Stay healthy!

Best regards from Oberschwaben-Allgäu, the team of Oberschwaben Tourismus GmbH
